팀 ‘_비엔날레’는 2년에 한 번, 전 세계 다양한 지역을 이동하며 전시를 기획하는 유목적 예술 팀입니다. 팀원인 문성주, 박주희, 배가희, 장민정, 황재원은 서로 다른 장소에 거주하며 작업하고 있지만, 모두 자신이 사는 지역의 정체성과 이야기에 깊은 관심을 가지고 있습니다.

이들은 단순히 전시를 위해 모이는 것이 아니라, 각자의 삶의 터전에서 지역과 예술이 만나 만들어낼 수 있는 관계를 실험하고자 합니다.

‘_비엔날레’는 언제나 장소에서 출발합니다. 팀원 중 한 명이 살고 있는 지역을 중심으로, 그곳의 풍경과 사람, 시간에 천천히 스며들며 전시를 준비합니다. 각 전시는 지역성과 예술 사이의 틈을 좁히고, 참여 작가와 주민, 기획자가 함께 만들어가는 협업의 장이자 연대의 시도가 됩니다.

Team ‘_biennale’ is a nomadic art collective that organizes exhibitions every two years in different parts of the world. Its members — Seongjoo Moon, Joohee Park, Kahee Bae, Minjung Jang and Jaewon Hwang — live and work in different regions, but all share a deep interest in the identity and stories of the places they inhabit.

Rather than gathering just to exhibit, they explore what can be made when locality and art meet in the places where they actually live.

Every project begins with a place. One of the members’ home regions becomes the starting point, and the team slowly immerses itself in its landscapes, people and time. Each exhibition becomes a space of collaboration and solidarity between artists, residents and curators.
